A few of my favorite foods

I tried a bunch of new things this week in terms of food. I’ll share the good and bad with you.

Sean takes daily vitamins. I don’t. I decided I needed to. So while we were at Sam’s spending more money than we needed to, I just grabbed some adult gummy vitamins. How bad could they be?

Really bad. That’s how bad. Ugh. They come in packs of five gummy vitamin bears. Flavors include: Tea, Lemon, Pineapple, Grape, and Strawberry. Tea flavored gummies? Now I have 30 days worth to burn through. I should have just gotten regular vitamins.

Ok, so every weekend at Trader Joe’s I buy myself one of these chocolate bars. Usually, I finish it before Monday. It is so good. However, this week I’ve managed to control myself and haven’t had any yet! I’ll have to break into it tonight for a square or two. Yum!

Yes, you’re reading that correctly. Chocolatey cat cookies… for people. They are like chocolate Teddy Grahams. Only better for you? I don’t know if that last statement is true, but they’re cat-shaped! I am an adult. I promise.

This is what remains of the cookies I baked this weekend. There’s nothing like homemade chocolate chip cookies. I found a good recipe that’s like a butter-cookie dough with chocolate chips just mixed in. Delicious. Every time I make them, I always make a least one chocolate-chipless one. Just to pretend I made butter cookies instead. I love sweets.

Remember the cake I baked for Sean’s birthday last week? This is what’s left. I did eat some of it even though I generally don’t like cake. This one was pretty tasty. Moist and dense. Goodness. With chocolate butter cream frosting. I’m usually against frosting, but the combo with this cake was perfect. Well, Sean ate most of it. And he finished it last night. Goodbye, cake.

Maybe I’ll bake some more this weekend. Yum.
