This post isn’t about exercise, though the title would lead you to believe that.
Sometimes when I plan things out in my head and then people impose task or schedule changes, I have a really hard time adjusting to something that’s NOT my plan. Does that even make sense? I think a lot of times this makes me 1. miss things that I probably would have enjoyed because they weren’t in the plans, 2. come off as inflexible and old-ladyish, and 3. anger others at my frustration.
Today at work, I did everything except what was on my to-do list. I started my list 30 minutes before I had to leave. It was frustrating to say the least and I probably showed that frustration more than I should have.
Does anyone else have this issue? Strict, inflexibility when it comes to schedule changes? It just rips me from neck to gut to not get my stuff done on time.
