Thursday dilemma

Thursdays are always good/hard for me. I go to kickboxing at 8:05 every Thursday. It’s always the highlight of my Thursdays. I get to see my Turbo and boxing friends. I get to sweat, etc.

Immediately afterward, I have to head home, take a quick shower, dry my hair, wash my face & head to work for a day of 10 to 6.

I know for normal people this isn’t a big deal. But ever since daylight saving has rolled around, I’ve had a really hard time not being completely exhausted after about 4:30 pm. In fact, yesterday I took a nap right after dinner and before boxing from about 5 to 6:30. It’s already dark at 5pm here! It just exhausts me for some reason.

That, and it’s already dark by the time I leave work. And traffic has usually gotten totally awful because of a combination of the dark mixed with Atlanta drivers’ awesome skillz (not).

Some days I just want to spend in bed... Like Sean here...

Does daylight savings get to anyone else?

It makes me feel like I’m not getting enough sleep. Ugh. Exhausted all the time. I may take up coffee, but probably not.

In other news, we’re getting ready for the Thanksgiving season. I say season, because we have three (count ’em, 3) weekend of Thanksgiving. So much food.
