Though most people are turned off by the notion of drinking their spinach, I strongly stand by the fact that it tastes like nothing in a smoothie. It just makes it a lovely shamrock shade.
Here’s how to get your green on in the AM, or any time of day, for that matter:
1 scoop chocolate (or any other flavor you like) protein powder
1 banana, cut into coins & frozen
3 strawberries, cut into coins & frozen
1/2 cup (or more!) frozen spnach
1/2 cup (or more) almond milk (or milk of choice)
Place bananas, strawberries, and spinach into blender first (makes it creamier). Add 1 scoop (or more if you’re feeling it) of protein powder and pour milk over the top. Blend until it’s the consistency you like. Enjoy. Yum! It’s dessert for breakfast with a tricksy twist!
