After the grueling bike course which I totally sucked at, I was so ready for the run. When I got off my bike and started jogging, my legs felt like soggy noodles. It took me a second to get in the groove, but once I got going, the run was the easiest part. It was the part that I felt most comfortable in. The first 2 miles were uphill (see the trend for this course), but the downhill felt so glorious. Of course the finish like was just over the top of a steep hill (why do they do that?), but when I crossed the finish line, Sean was there waiting, waving.
I’m so glad I tried the triathlon. I’ve signed myself up for another one at the beginning of June! Once I get the tri pics, I’ll make sure to put them up!
