It’s Monday! I hope your weekends were wonderful. The weather was amazing in Atlanta. I tried to spend as much time outside as possible. Saturday, Sean and I slept in until 7:45! Can you believe that?! I’ve never slept in that late in my entire life. After a quick breakfast, we headed out to go grocery shopping and clean the apartment–the usual weekend chores.
Tesla looks on approvingly…
We probably took about 5 walks on Saturday just to get outside. Got back from groceries, took a walk. Had lunch, took a walk. Cleaned the apartment, took a walk. I’m sure you get the drift.
On Saturday, I actually cashed in on the massage gift card that Sean got me for Christmas. When I set up the appointment, they asked if I preferred a male or female massage therapist. I said it didn’t really matter, and I was matched up with Arteus. I soon discovered that Arteus was a huge, tall man that was ready to bring the pain. Is it typical to be sore after a massage? I have a million knots in my back, shoulders, neck, and legs, but Arteus did his best to work them out. It was less a relaxation massage and more of a workout.
Spring flowers on one of our outings!
Sunday was pretty much a repeat of Saturday, except we walked to the bagel shop down the road for breakfast. Walking was the theme this weekend. When we got back, we decided to go back to bed. Sleeping was the other theme this weekend… After some more walking, a good lunch, and a few more naps, Sean and I decided to watch the movie Life of Pi. I’ve never read the book, but I really want to now because the movie was pretty good.
We were walking too fast for this speed-checker!
I heard that the tiger in the film was all CG. It looked so realistic! I highly recommend watching it. It takes a little bit to get off the ground, but it truly was a great movie.
I just got an email form Subaru that I’ve had Doc Holliday for a whole year! Maybe I should celebrate by taking my car for a trip?
Have a fantastic Monday!
