Hold on to your hats, folks. I’m about to make your Monday.
My mom is a hairdresser, which should mean that I know how to do my own hair. But it actually means that I didn’t learn how to put my hair in a pony tail unassisted until high school. When I was in a hurry or getting frustrated, I’d just have my mom do it for me. What an enabler! (Just kidding, I love you, mom.)
The result now, is that I can barely scruff by when it comes to hairstyles. I just recently started blow drying my hair (and any attempt at a style other than a ponytail actually stopped once I broke my leg). I’ve tried being fancy and learning how to style my hair, but, chalk it up to impatience, laziness, or just plain ignorance–I just can’t get past the ponytail and school girl straight hair with bangs clipped aside.
So, for funsies this weekend, I thought I’d try on some new hairstyles. Let me know what you think. 🙂
This is how I started off:
Alrighty, here we go:
I’ve always wanted to try out bangs, so I tried some celebrity hairstyles.
I’ve gone super-short before, so I thought I’d try on some short celebrity hairstyles.
I’m just being Miley.
I don’t know, guys. I think I could be a blonde.
I also tried some updos:
And just for super funsies:
The Whoopi Goldberg
Could I go curly? I’m thinking no.
This looks like too much work.
Pin-up style? This is Dita von Teese’s hair.
WHERE ARE MY DRAGONS?!
GTL. Gym, tan, laundry!
And now, for the finale,
I WAS BORN THIS WAY-HAY!
Lady Gaga hair to the max!
Lady Gaga hair #2 (or blonde Jane from Daria)
Welp, I hope I gave you a laugh this Monday. Have a good one! 🙂
