I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s fun “trying on new styles” post. I had fun making it and showing the styles to Sean to laugh at. We had a good time this weekend just hanging out and being lazy. It’s been nonstop rain here in Atlanta, so we’ve had a good excuse to stay inside and veg out on the couch.
We did the regular stuff this weekend(grocery shopping, cleaning, etc.), but we also met my mom for a delicious lunch at Mellow Mushroom. The meal started off with the spinach & artichoke dip. It was pretty tasty, but I tried not to eat too much since I knew I’d have pizza coming, too. I got a small salad and Sean and I split a small cheese pizza. My mom got the delicious-looking house special. It was loaded with pretty much every topping they had on hand, I think: “Red sauce base with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, ham, Applewood smoked bacon, mushrooms, black olives, Roma tomatoes, green peppers and onion.” She was only able to eat one piece and had to get the rest to go!
I tried some mini DIY projects (and failed!). Dontcha hate it when Pinterest lets you down? I was trying to create a spice rack on the back of the pantry door with plastic pencil holders and 3M hooks. The cheap pencil holders had a weird lip on the edge that makes them tilt too far away from the door. I fit my little spices in there, but it wasn’t the end-all solution to my pantry organization problems. I hate wasting money!
This is me trying DIY projects
Sean is on his 3rd run through of Borderlands 2. I don’t understand video game people some time. Apparently he didn’t like his character the first time around. So, he had to play through with a new character, but he has to play through twice with that character to get to a certain level. And then once he gets to that level he’ll be able to play the game at the most advanced level… I think. But we spent a lot of the weekend just being lazy bones and enjoying the quiet and rain. I already can’t wait for next weekend.
Do you have a gamer in your family? Do you understand the play-through a million times nonsense?
