Friday. Yes, Please.

I’ve been trying to chill out on the sweets and eat better recently. I started this week, but sort of began the quest ill-prepared as we spent most of our grocery shopping time looking for ways to maximize the Super Bowl this past Sunday.

I eat the same thing for breakfast almost every day — 2 scrambled eggs, 2.5 pieces of bacon some days (usually Wednesdays and Fridays unless there’s a bacon surplus), and piece of Udi’s toast with butter & jam (most days). Lunch is usually leftovers from dinner the night before. Dinner is whatever Sean makes since he gets home before I do, and I’m generally too hungry to care by the time I get home.

Part of my “healthy eating” problem is that I cannot say no to sweets and another part is that I don’t plan food out in advance as well as I should. I end up getting hungry by 3 or 4pm when I’m already out of lunchbox food. This means a run on the office candy jar just to get that sickly, too hungry feeling to go away.

I guess I’ll figure it out over the weekend. Maybe after the weekend, so I can eat all the junks!

Speaking of the weekend, I don’t have any plans. It’s not soccer season yet, so… there’s not a lot to do on the weekends. Which is totally fine because I love to sleep in case you didn’t know or have been living under a rock for ages.
